Position
Tenure Track Researcher (RTT) at the University of Bologna. Her research primarily focuses on the sociology of health and medicine, with a particular emphasis on illness narratives, aging, disability, and gender perspectives on health and illness.
Education
Graduated in Sociology in 2015 from the University of Turin, she obtained her Ph.D. in Sociology and Social Research Methodology (SOMET) from the University of Turin and the University of Milan in 2019.
Academic Career and Teaching Activity
Since 2024, Tenure Track Researcher (RTT) in Sociology at the Department of Education Sciences “G. M. Bertin” at the University of Bologna. Previously, Researcher (RTDA) at the Department of Political Science, Communication, and International Relations at the University of Macerata.
Currently, she teaches Sociology of Education (Sociologia dell’Educazione) for the Corso di Laurea Magistrale a ciclo unico in Scienze della Formazione Primaria (University of Bologna) and Sociology of Welfare and of Social Policies (Sociologia del Welfare e delle Politiche Sociali) for the Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Progettazione e gestione dell’intervento educativo nel disagio sociale (University of Bologna, Rimini campus).
She has previously held teaching positions at several Italian universities, including the University of Macerata, the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart (Brescia campus), and the University of Turin (Turin and Cuneo campuses).
