Education
Or Rosenboim earned a PhD in Politics and International Studies from the University of Cambridge, a Master's in Global and Imperial History from the University of Oxford (distinction) and a BA (with honors) in Contemporary History from the University of Bologna.

Academic Career
Before joining the University of Bologna in 2023, she was Senior Lecturer in Modern History and Director of the Centre for Modern History at City, University of London (2017–2023). Previously, she served as a Junior Research Fellow at Queens' College, Cambridge, and a Teaching Associate at the Centre for Gender Studies at the University of Cambridge (2014–2017).

She has held fellowships at several prestigious institutions, including the European University Institute in Florence, the University of California, Los Angeles, the University of Chicago, Sciences Po in Paris, and LUISS in Rome.

During Hilary Term 2025, she holds a visiting fellowship at the Department of Politics and International Relations, University of Oxford, UK.

Teaching Activities
Since 2014, Rosenboim has consistently engaged in teaching. From 2017, she taught various undergraduate and postgraduate history courses at City, University of London.

Currently, she is a lecturer in Global History for the Master's program and Contemporary History for the Bachelor's program in Letters at the University of Bologna.

She has organized and coordinated specialized seminars in her field and founded the *History/IR* seminar at the University of Cambridge.

Research Activities
Rosenboim has participated in numerous national and international research programs, including:
- Getting it Wrong: The History of Predictions research project (BA Knowledge Frontier)
- The International History of the Cold War research project (UKRI Network Grant).

Membership in Scientific and Editorial Committees

In 2025-2030, she serves on the international advisory board of Global Intellectual History.

In 2025 she was nominated member of the Barbara Tuchman Prize committee, Historical IR section, International Studies Association, USA.

From 2020 to 2023, she served on the advisory board of the Review of International Studies and was a member of the Best Article Prize Committee in 2021.
