His research focuses on optimizing post-harvest management of kiwifruit, with an emphasis on innovative technologies to enhance fruit quality. His interests include: the use of beneficial microorganisms, the effect of light on the coloration of red-fleshed kiwifruit, non-destructive evaluation of quality parameters through NiR spectroscopy, and volatilome analysis for the detection of storage-related disorders.
Education
In the academic years 2018/2019, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural and Forestry Sciences and Technologies (110/110 cum laude) from the Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment (Di3A), University of Catania.
In the academic years 2020/2021, he obtained a Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies (110/110) from the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences (DISTAL), Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna (UNIBO).
