Yannick Joosten is a PhD fellow at the Department of Architecture, Università di Bologna. With a research on “John Ruskin’s Venice, Seeing Truth Through its Stones.” Considering architecture and art (history), philosophy, anthropology, nature, myth, and literature. Under supervision of Prof. Giovanni Leoni and Co-Supervisor Prof. Andrea Borsari.
Yannick holds a Master in Architecture at IUAV the University of Venice (110 e Lode). A Bachelor of Arts from Zuyd University of Applied Sciences Maastricht (Cum Laude).
He was part of; HERSUS Sustainable Reconstruction in Urban Areas [2021]. La Biennale di Venezia ‘College in Architettura’ by Lesley Lokko [2023]. The Sovrintendenza ai Beni Architettonici Musei Vaticani, Vitale Zanchettin [2023-24]. SPEME Project questioning traumatic heritage [2024].
