Ph.D. candidate at the University of Bologna, conducts his research in precision agriculture and nutrition modeling in horticultural crops. His research interests are in methods of early detection of nutritional deficiencies using optical reflectance sensors (multispectral and hyperspectral) to guide dynamic fertilization in horticultural crops. He has been a visiting researcher at the University of Valencia (Spain).

He has served as an agronomic technician and technical consultant in international cooperation projects in urban agriculture and for the implementation of simplified hydroponics techniques in tropical and Mediterranean contexts (Dominican Republic, Paraguay, Tunisia). He participates in different European projects: FoodLAND, FrontAG Nexus, InCitisFood. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
Master's degree in Agricultural Science and Technology in 2021 (110L/110) and Bachelor's degree in Economics and Marketing in the agro-industrial system (110L/110) both from the University of Bologna.
