Curriculum vitae

Valerio Arcobelli is a research fellow at the Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Information Engineering "Guglielmo Marconi" at the University of Bologna. His main research interests focus on the development of innovative solutions for acquiring and analyzing human movement data in contexts where mobility is impaired due to pathological conditions. During his PhD, he designed and developed an advanced system of sensorized crutches integrated with a lower-limb exoskeleton to create innovative and personalized control strategies. He contributed to several clinical studies, both with the tools he developed and through advanced methodologies for analyzing gait disorders. Additionally, he has deepened his expertise in medical informatics, with a particular focus on technologies for the secure and interoperable management of clinical data, essential for advancing medical research and supporting decision-making processes in healthcare.
