Romina Gayá holds a MA in International Economic Relations (Universitat de Barcelona), a MA in International Affairs and Negotiations (Universidad de San Andrés), a BA in economics specialized in International Economics and Finance (Université de Toulouse) and a BA in Economics (Universidad de del Salvador).
For over 20 years, she has worked as an independent consultant, advising international organizations, business associations, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and governments on international trade, internationalization strategies, and knowledge-based services (KBS), among other relevant topics.

Her work takes a comprehensive approach. She designs work methodologies, gathers and analyzes data, diagnoses, and analyzes markets. She fosters dialogue with key stakeholders in both the public and private sectors. Additionally, she identifies and examines international best practices to inform the design of effective strategies for businesses and policymakers.
She provides SMEs with support in the acceleration and internationalization process and delivers training on international trade and cross-border e-commerce for international organizations, public and private entities
She has designed and developed this type of activities for the IDB, UNCTAD, ECLAC, LAIA, SELA, Connect Americas, governments of Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Perú and the Dominican Republic, E-Commerce Institute, Fundación Empretec, ProCórdoba, InvestBA, Fundación ICBC, Trade & Law College (Mexico), Analdex Colombia, the Chamber of Importers of the Argentine Republic (CIRA) (CIRA), Chamber of Commerce of Medellín, Córdoba Technology Cluster, International Trade Chamber of Santa Fe, EmpreAr, Federal Council of Investments (CFI), Sergio Arboleda University (Colombia), University of Montevideo (Uruguay), Xochicalco University (México), among others.
Since 2003, she has been actively involved in research on international economics and business. She brings this expertise to the classroom, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Università di Bologna (UNIBO) and Fundación UADE. Previously, she taught at UBA, UCA, UTN, among other universities.
She is also the author of several publications and she participates as speaker in international conferences on a regular basis.
