Junior assistant professor (RTD-A) at the University of Bologna since 2023, conducting research in the field of robotics and automatic control.
Main research interests: robotic manipulation and telemanipulation; human-robot interaction (HRI); electromyographic (EMG) interfaces for controlling robotic devices; multimodal control of wearable robots; assistive and prosthetic robotics; wearable sensors and machine learning for human intent estimation in robotic applications.
Education and Training
Master's degree in Automation Engineering at the University of Bologna, with a final grade of 110/110 cum laude.
PhD in Biomedical, Electrical, and Systems Engineering (XXX Cycle), within the "Automatics and Operational Research" curriculum, at the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering "Guglielmo Marconi" (DEI) of the University of Bologna, under the supervision of Prof. Claudio Melchiorri.

Teacher of the courses "Control Systems Engineering and Technologies" for the Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bologna (since 2019) and "Foundations of Industrial Robotics" for the Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering at the University of Bologna (since 2022), at the School of Engineering.
