From May 2013 to December 2017 he started an academy, Digital Friday, oriented to non-professionals of social media marketing.

From May 2010 to December 2013 he worked on Location Based services, developing products and services to support Location Based Business and Marketing and projects for large customers and events including:

• First Conference of Foursquare Mayors - 2010 (Bologna)

• Treasure Hunt on Foursquare for Vodafone during Social Media Week - 2010 (Milano)

• 4sqday di Bologna: the community explores the city - 2010 (Milano)

In January 2005 he founded Mimulus and since then he has been studying the opportunities for effective use of new technologies in companies to improve business processes and digital marketing activities.

From January 2000 to December 2004 – Business Unit Manager in Webegg (Italian software integration company, Telecom Group).

Corporate career

He started in 1985 in GSO Informatica SpA (which later became Logicasiel Spa, then Webegg) in Bologna as an analyst programmer of management applications in the banking sector and then became functional analyst and designer of software systems oriented to quality control in industrial processes.

Organization consultant since 1997, he has been involved in Quality Systems, Privacy and IT Security Management Systems, and reengineering of organizational processes.

With the advent of the Internet, it has focused its attention on organizational planning integrated with the strategic use of new technologies and in particular in the design and launch of Company Intranets aimed at obtaining long-term organizational benefits.

Within the company he has held various roles including:

• Product Manager (1995-1996)

• Principal Consultant for Quality and Organization (1997-1999)

• Services Area Consulting Manager (2000-2001)

• Head of Intranet Consultancy (2002-2003).

Graduation

Graduated in Mathematics in Bologna in 1984, he obtained the Postgraduate Diploma in Numerical Analysis in 1985 in Bologna.
