Postdoctoral researcher and plant pathologist, specializing in sustainable disease management strategies for agricultural crops. My research focuses on RNA interference (RNAi) technologies, such as SIGS and HIGS, targeting major fungal pathogens that affect grapevine, strawberry, and pear, including
Plasmopara viticola,
Erysiphe necator,
Botrytis cinerea,
Colletotrichum spp., and
Stemphylium. In addition to my work on pre-harvest disease management, I also conduct post-harvest analysis to ensure the longevity and quality of crops. Working at the intersection of plant genetics and pathology, I am dedicated to advancing eco-friendly solutions for protecting crops from diseases.
