M.Sc. in Civil Engineering in 2004, with honours, at the
University of Bologna.
PhD in Geotechnical Engineering in 2008 at the University of
Parma. In 2006, visiting research fellow at the University of
Southampton (UK). Research assistant of Geotechnical Engineering at
the Department of Civil, Environmental and Materials Engineering
(DICAM) at the University of Bologna, from 2008 to 2012. From 2013 to 2023 is Research Fellow of Soil Mechanics, at the
University of Bologna. From 2024 is Associate Professor of Soil Mechanics at the University of Bologna (Ravenna Campus).
From Academic Year 2005-06 to 2007-08, tutor of Soil Mechanics
for Civil Engineering. In Academic Year 2008-09, adjunct professor
of Geotechnical Engineering for Civil Engineering. From Academic
Year 2009-10 at present, adjunct professor of Soil Mechanics for
Architecture and Building Engineering.
From 2020, prototyping coordinator of the European Project LIFE SandBoil (LIFE19 ENV/IT/000071), coordinated by the Univesity of Bologna (https://lifesandboil.eu).
Author and co-author of papers, published in national and
international conference proceedings and international
journals.
