She is currently a Research Fellow at the Department of Cultural Heritage at Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna.

 

Education

2016 PhD in History of Arts (XXVIII cycle). Inter-university Doctoral School of the University Ca' Foscari of Venice, IUAV University of Venice, University of Verona (external supervision: Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna). Thesis title: "The Punic-Roman residential quarters of Tharros (OR). Architectural and urban investigation."

2012 Specialist in Archaeological Heritage. Postgraduate Specialization in Archaeological Heritage at Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna. Thesis title: "Punic funerary architecture in Sardinia: Typology and ritual arrangements."

2009 Master's Degree in Archaeology. University of Pisa. Thesis title: "Amber in the Aegean World."

Participation in Archaeological Research Missions

Since 2018, she is a member of the excavation mission at the Sa Codriola isthmus of Tharros (Sardinia) of Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, directed by Prof. A.C. Fariselli, as the Responsible of Graphic and Photogrammetric Documentation.

Since 2018, she is a member of the excavation mission at the cardo maximus of the settlement of Tharros (Sardinia) of Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, directed by Prof. A.C. Fariselli, as the Responsible of Graphic and Photogrammetric Documentation.

Since 2019, she is a member of the excavation mission at the Sarcapos site, Santa Maria di Villaputzu (Sardinia) of Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, directed by Prof. R. Secci, as the Responsible of the sector on the field and Graphic and Photogrammetric Documentation.

From 2012 to 2019, she was a member of the excavation mission at the southern necropolis of Capo San Marco at the Tharros site (Sardinia) of Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, directed by Prof. A.C. Fariselli, as the Responsible of the sector on the field (2016) and Graphic and Photogrammetric Documentation (2012-2019).

From 2010 to 2012, she was a member of the excavation mission at the northern necropolis of San Giovanni di Sinis of Tharros (Sardinia), in the excavation sector so-called "cupola", directed by Prof. A.C. Fariselli (Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna) (in partnership with the University of Cagliari (directed by Prof. C. Del Vais), the ministry concessionaire for the excavation), as the Responsible of Graphic and Photogrammetric Documentation (2011-2012).

During her academic training, she participated in research and excavation missions in Italy (Marzabotto (2011) - University of Bologna; Senigallia (2011) - University of Bologna; San Gaetano di Vada (2008) - University of Pisa; Monterenzio (2008) - University of Bologna; Roca Vecchia (2006) - University of Salento; Muro Leccese (2006) - University of Salento; Avetrana - Masseria La Marina (2006) - University of Salento; Museo Diffuso di Cavallino (2005) - University of Salento) and abroad (Bakchias, Egypt (2010) - University of Bologna; Burnum, Croatia (2010) - University of Bologna; Soknopaiou Nesos, Egypt (2007) - University of Salento).

Additional Professional Experience

Since 2011, she has been involved in preventive archaeology activities in Emilia Romagna and Piedmont.

Since 2013, she has been involved in archaeological education for primary and secondary school students.
