Curriculum vitae

Adjunct professor at Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna since 2024, he is a researcher in Nuclear Engineering at the ENEA Research Centre in Bologna. His research interests are: reactor physics of fast reactor systems, liquid metal cooled fast reactors, applications of artificial intelligence for nuclear applications.

Studies

M.Sc. in Energy and Nuclear Engineering at Politecnico di Torino in 2011.
In 2018 he got a doctoral degree (Dr.-Ing.) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.

Attività didattica

Since 2023 he is responsible for courses of Mathematics within the Life Science Department of the Modena and Reggio Emilia University.

In the academic year 2024/25 he teaches modules of Mathematics and Calculus in Bologna. He is also responsible for the course of Probability and Statistics within the Bachelor in Computer Science program at the Ferrara University.

Attività scientifica
From 2012 to 2019 ha was a researcher at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany).
Since 2019 he is a researcher in the Laboratory for Nuclear Installations Safety at the ENEA Research Centre in Bologna.

He participated in different European projects and research groups within the IAEA and NEA/OECD.

Referee for international peer-reviewed journals in the field on Nuclear Engineering: Annals of Nuclear Energy, Nuclear Engineering and Design, Nuclear Science and Engineering.
