I am currently an Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) in Political Science & Public Administration at the University of Bologna. My research interests and publication focuses on trends in public administration reforms, management of public services, and implementation dynamics in different multi-level and multi-actor organizational settings. Within this topic, I wrote several articles that have been published in the best Italian journals specialized in my research field, as well as in WoS/Scopus international peer-reviewed journals, such as: disP-The Planning Review; European Planning Studies; European Policy Analysis; Health Policy; Innovation; International Journal of Public Administration; International Journal of Public Sector Management; Italian Political Science Review; Journal of Economic Policy Reform; Journal of Public Affairs; Journal of Public Deliberation; Local Government Studies; Modern Italy; Policy Studies; Public Management Review; Public Money & Management; Quality & Quantity; Regional and Federal Studies; Regional Studies, Regional Science; Regulation & Governance; Review of Policy Research; Territory, Politics, Governance and others. I also published two books on territorial rescaling and inter-municipal cooperation for the two most important Italian publishers (Il Mulino, Carocci Editore). My international monograph - on how Multi Level Governance affects on EU Cohesion policy implementation - had been published by Palgrave MacMillan in the International Series of Public Policy (the official series of International Public Policy Association, which organizes the International Conference on Public Policy). Former member of the Board of the Regional Studies Association (RSA), I am currently member of the Board of the Italian Political Science Association (SISP) and co-coordinator of its Standing Group “Regional Studies and Local Policies”.
