PhD Candidate in 'Public Governance, Management and Policy' (39° cycle) at the University of Bologna - Department of Political and Social Science.
His doctoral research builds upon the theoretical-conceptual and empirical interrelation among participatory democracy, self-management, and federalism in selected federal or highly decentralized South American states, and on the implications of such interrelation on the institutional-constitutional order of each state. On a disciplinary level, his study integrates multiple theoretical and analytical perspectives, including democracy theories, comparative federalism and comparative constitutionalism.
