Since 2023 she is Junior assistant professor (Rtd -A) at Desu - Department of Education and Humanities Unimore - University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
Her research interests are: state-church relations in Russia and Ukraine and the history of churches in Ukraine. Currently her research focuses on the analysis of the autocephaly of the Ukrainian church, Slavic translations of the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed, and revisions made as part of the liturgical reform of Patriarch Nikon.
She co-coordinates (i.e. product owner) the research activities of WP4 DamSym Data Mining of the Nicene- Constantinopolitan Creed - ITSERR (Italian Strengthening of the ESFRI RI RESILIENCE). EU Call INFRADEV-02-2019-2020, funded by H2020EU.1.4.1.1. ID871127).
She is academic assistant of the UNESCO Chair on Religious Pluralism and Peace - Sapienza University of Rome and Foundation for Religious Sciences. Chairholder: Alberto Melloni (Unimore; Fscire; Sapienza University of Rome).
She is a member of the European research project ERASMUS Jean Monnet LS Type I and II - Freedom of Belief and Right to Information (FreeBeRI) Coordinator: Silvia Cristofori (Link Campus University).
Education
In May 2022, she got her Ph.D. in "Humanities" - University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Department of Linguistic and Cultural Studies.
From January 2022 to April 2023 she was a postdoctoral fellow at the Foundation for Religious Sciences.
From 2020 to 2022 she was soiskatel' at the Russian State University for the Humanities - RGGU (Moscow).
In 2020 her master's degree in "International Studies" (University of Naples L'Orientale) was granted academic recognition in the Russian Federation - Registration Number: 220100937620 - Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science (Rosobrnadzor).
