- Diachronic evolution of rural settlement patterns;
- Analysis of medieval wetland and upland landscapes and their exploitation forms;
- Analysis of exploitation and management forms of medieval agrarian landscapes;
- Analysis of methodological aspects related to the history and archaeology of rural landscapes;
- Development and analysis of digital technologies for the management of archaeological documentation and the analysis of historical landscapes, particularly GIS, BIM, and point cloud manipulation tools.
