Formation
She obtained a University Diploma for Nursing in 2000 at the University of Perugia, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, in 2011 the Master's Degree in Nursing and Midwifery Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome. In 2016 she obtained the II level University Master's Degree in "Clinical Risk management Management and Patient Safety" at the University of Verona, Faculty of Medicine and management Surgery and in 2018 the Advanced Training Course "Clinical Risk Management and Continuous Improvement of the Quality and Safety of Care" at the Sant'Anna University School of Advanced Studies in Pisa.
Teaching activities
Since 2011 she has been continuously teaching on the topics of risk management and safety of care. She has organized and coordinated in-depth seminars and participated as a speaker at conferences, seminars and courses on the topic of care safety and risk management
Institutional activities and academic appointments
In September 2011 she began her professional career at the structure Clinical Risk Management of the "S Maria" Hospital in Terni; since December 2013 she has been working at the healthcare organisation USL Umbria 2 in the Clinical Risk Management Service where she held the role of organizational position as responsible for the clinical risk management. In 2014 she was appointed referent member of the USL Umbria 2 in the Regional Commission for the Coordination of Clinical Risk since its establishment and in 2017 member of the Regional Health Risk and Patient Safety Center until 2021, the year in which she was appointed by Decree of the President of the Regional Council as Coordinator of the Regional Center for Health Risk Management and Patient Safety of the Umbria Region. appointed member of the Umbria Region Committee of the Maternal Mortality Surveillance System of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità. Appointed member of the Clinical Risk Sub-area of the Health Commission. Member of the integrated working group sub-area clinical risk and "forensic medicine" of the health commission on the Agreement pursuant to art. 10 paragraph 6 of Law 24/2017. Designated by the Health Commission of the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces as a member of the National Observatory on the Safety of Health and Social Care Professionals, referred to in Article 2 of Law No. 113 of 14 August 2020, established by Decree of 13 January 2022.Coordinator of the Regional Group for Clinical Risk, Safety of Drugs and Medical Devices of the Umbria Region.
She currently holds the position of Coordinator of the Risk Management Area at the operating unit Forensic Medicine and Risk Management of the healthcare organization USL Bologna.
