Konstantina Douka

Short bio

A Research Fellow at the University of Bologna since 2022, she conducts her research in the field of Urban and Spatial Planning. Her research interests are particularly focused on forms of active citizen participation, the role of the community and social inclusion. She currently focuses her research on the topic of ‘Urban regeneration, social participation and decarbonisation of existing heritage and NEB models’.

Education
Graduated from the School of Law, Political Science and Economics in 2014 at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, she obtained her M.Sc in Urban and Spatial Planning in 2017 at the School of Architecture of National Technical University of Athens and PhD in the same faculty, with research topic the brain drain and digital nomads, changes for cities and housing situation.
