Curriculum vitae

Since November 2024, she has been a research fellow at the Interdepartmental Center for Environmental Science Research. She is involved in the BioLaMer Project (HE, EIC Pathfinder Open Project), conducting research on environmental impact assessment by applying the Life Cycle Thinking approach and related evaluation methods.

Research and Visiting Activities

  • 2021–2023: Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow (MSCA-IF-EF-ST), Faculty of Chemistry, University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), with the UNCERTIR Project (H2020, project number 101032212).
  • July 2022: Visiting researcher, Department of Economics and Business, University of Cagliari.
  • 2018–2020: Research fellow, Department of Chemistry "G. Ciamician."
  • Feb–Aug 2017: Visiting research student, Institute for Sustainable Heritage, University College London (ISH-UCL).

Awards

  • 2023 – Outstanding Research Achievements – Her study on the dating of historical books using NIR spectroscopy and machine learning, published in JACS, was selected among the ten best research achievements of the year at the University of Ljubljana.
  • 2020 – Seal of Excellence – Awarded for the UNCERTIR project proposal on IR spectroscopy for the characterization of historical materials, submitted under the Horizon 2020 MSCA-IF program.
  • 2015 – Soroptimist International Club Ravenna – Awarded for the best master’s thesis of the year in Environmental Analysis and Management.

She has attended several courses on writing and managing European research projects (Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe).
