His research focuses on social movements, urban studies, and participation, with particular attention to the intersections between these domains and artistic practices. He has published in academic journals such as Comunicazioni Sociali, Piano B, Tracce Urbane, Connessioni Remote, and FIELD. In 2016, he co-founded the collective Autopalo, through which he investigates modes of participation by exploring the relationship between artistic practices, football, and organized fandom. Autopalo’s work has been exhibited in both national and international venues, including the Palais de Tokyo (Paris) and the Museum of Contemporary Photography (Milan). In 2021, he published his doctoral dissertation on Italian artistic practices in urban space and the history of early socially engaged art projects in the United States. He has taught as adjunct faculty at the Iuav University of Venice, where he also contributed to research on culture-led urban regeneration. In 2023, he published Come leggere il monumento o la sua rimozione (Postmedia), an essay examining the relationship between memory, history, identity construction, and the visual arts.
