Research Fellow at the University of Bologna, Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences.
Since 2024, they have been conducting research in the field of agricultural chemistry. Their research interests focus particularly on studying the effects of organic fertilization (digestates and compost) on leguminous crops, with an emphasis on nitrogen and phosphorus.
Education:
Graduated in Viticulture and Oenology in 2021 from the University of Udine, they obtained a master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies, specializing in Plant Biotechnology, from the University of Bologna with top marks. They spent the second year of their master's program in Sweden, completing their studies and conducting a thesis titled “Optimal photoperiod and light intensity for indoor cultivation of leafy vegetables in a commercial vertical farm in Sweden”, focusing on optimizing production and energy efficiency.
Participation in Conferences/Training Courses:
- In 2025, they participated in the "V Course on Statistical Methodology for Agricultural Sciences Dario Sacco: Linear and Generalized Models” organized by the Italian Society of Agronomy (SIA).
- In 2025, they attended the Winter School in Perugia on “The use of bio-based materials in the agrosystem: Plant-Soil-Microbiome interaction”, presenting the poster titled “Does recycled organic waste-based fertilization affect Nitrogen fixation in legumes?”
