Curriculum vitae

I was born and raised in the province of Verona in an agricultural family, where I developed a strong interest in Veterinary Medicine from a young age. After attending the Vocational Institute for Agriculture and the Environment in Villafranca di Verona, I discovered a deep passion for animal husbandry, which has guided my academic and professional journey.

I graduated with honors in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Bologna in 2016, presenting an Experimental Thesis focused on dairy cow nutrition. I continued my training with a PhD in the Animal Production Service at the Department of Veterinary Medical Sciences (DIMEVET) at Alma Mater Studiorum, concentrating on dairy cow nutrition at the department's teaching and research facility.

Throughout my career, I have undertaken international internships at eminent research centers, including the MINER Institute and Cornell University in the United States. From 2019 to 2021, I held the position of Teaching Tutor for the Animal Husbandry Internship, contributing to student training in animal production. I also completed a Residency program with the European College of Comparative Nutrition, successfully passing the final examination in 2024 in the Farm Animals track, with a specialization in livestock and equine nutrition.

Since 2019, I have been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Teramo, where I teach Livestock Nutrition and Feeding within the master’s program in Sustainable Animal Production Sciences. In 2021, I was appointed as a Fixed-Term Researcher (Type A), and as of November 15, 2024, I serve as a Tenure Track Researcher at DIMEVET, University of Bologna.

In the 2024-2025 academic year, I hold the position of Lecturer for the Feed Technology module within the integrated course of Animal Nutrition and Feeding. Additionally, since 2024, I am responsible for the Animal Husbandry Internship in the Veterinary Medicine program, continuing my commitment to educating the next generation of veterinarians.
