WORK EXPERIENCE

In November 2021, I worked as a Trainer for the Ministry of Education at the Emilia Romagna Regional School Office, as part of a project dedicated to the inclusion of students with disabilities in schools. I was responsible for training teachers of all grade levels, with a particular focus on the inclusion of students with disabilities, in accordance with current regulations, including Article 1, Law 178/2020, and Ministerial Decree 188/2021. My responsibilities included acquiring knowledge about current legislation and types of disabilities, reading and understanding diagnostic documents, analyzing Individualized Education Plan (IEP) models, and designing and testing inclusive educational interventions.

Since September 2019, I have been a tenured teacher at the "L. da Vinci" Scientific High School in Casalecchio di Reno (BO), where I teach Natural, Chemical, and Biological Sciences (A050) and provide support to students with difficulties in scientific subjects as a support teacher (AD01). During this period, I have been committed to the inclusion of all students, particularly focusing on personalized educational approaches and providing academic support.

Previously, from September 2017 to 2019, I taught at the "L. Bassi" High School in Bologna, also as a tenured teacher on provisional assignment. There, I continued to provide educational support in scientific subjects, with a focus on inclusion and adapting teaching activities.

From 2015 to 2017, I was a tenured teacher at the "G. Salvemini" Technical Institute in Casalecchio di Reno (BO), where I held the same roles: support teacher in the scientific area (AD01) and teacher of Natural, Chemical, and Biological Sciences (A050).

From 2010 to 2015, I worked in various State Secondary Schools in Bologna and the surrounding area, including "M. Malpighi" in Crevalcore, "L. Bassi" in Bologna, "Paolini Cassiano" in Imola, and "G. Salvemini" in Casalecchio di Reno. In these schools, I was a Support Teacher for scientific subjects, with temporary assignments.

Between 2008 and 2013, I taught at the private schools "M. Malpighi" in Bologna, both in the lower secondary school, where I taught Mathematics and Science (A059), and in the upper secondary school, where I taught Natural Sciences (A060) and managed laboratory activities.

In addition, from 2006 to 2008, I served as the coordinator for educational projects at the Ritiro San Pellegrino Foundation – Management of the "M. Malpighi" High Schools in Bologna, also handling requests for funding from public and private entities.

In 2007, I collaborated with the National Institute for the Development of School Autonomy (I.N.D.I.R.E.) as a consultant for the review of articles in the educational and training field, which involved writing abstracts and developing a thesaurus.

Throughout these years, my work has focused on school inclusion, personalized teaching, and the adoption of innovative methods to ensure accessible learning for all students, regardless of their difficulties or special needs.

From December 15, 2005, to September 30, 2006, I collaborated with the Suviana and Brasimone Lakes Regional Park as the Head and Coordinator of the Park's educational and tourism activities, under a coordinated and continuous collaboration (Co.co.co.) contract. In this role, I managed, promoted, and planned the Park's Environmental Education activities, organizing theoretical and practical lessons on the local flora, fauna, geology, and energy resources. Additionally, I was responsible for coordinating the Park's Guides and represented the Park in meetings with various public entities (Region, Province, Municipalities, Mountain Communities). I also organized events and activities and planned macroinvertebrate monitoring in high-altitude streams.

From April 1, 2004, to September 30, 2006, I also worked with the Suviana and Brasimone Lakes Regional Park as the Head of the Park's Visitor Centers, under a coordinated and continuous collaboration (Co.co.co.) contract. My tasks included managing the Visitor Centers, providing information, promoting itineraries, and organizing conferences. I also conducted educational lessons, coordinated educational activities, and ensured quality control of the content. I also served as an Environmental Guide for visits to the Park and its Hydroelectric and Wind Power Plants.

From January 15, 2004, to August 31, 2005, I worked on a casual basis at the Amphibian Center in Pianoro (BO), which focuses on the conservation and monitoring of threatened amphibians as part of the Pellegrino Project. My main activities included monitoring rare and/or threatened amphibians in several areas of the Province of Bologna, as well as assisting in research activities under the supervision of Dr. Guglielmo Stagni. I also gave educational lessons on the topic, raising public awareness of local wildlife conservation.

Between September 13, 2004, and November 30, 2005, I worked at Bioikos Ambiente s.r.l., a consulting firm for businesses in environmental, safety, and quality matters. As an employee, I managed consulting practices for companies, focusing on environmental and safety matters as a process operator.

In all these experiences, I have developed strong expertise in managing educational and environmental awareness activities, coordinating sustainability projects, and providing consulting services for managing environmental and safety practices.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Throughout my academic career, I have pursued a series of postgraduate diplomas that have enriched my professional training and allowed me to delve into key topics for education and inclusion.

In 2014-2015, I obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in "Theory and Method of Using Multimedia Technologies in Teaching" from the University for Foreigners Dante Alighieri. This training program, lasting 1500 hours and awarding 60 CFU, provided me with advanced tools for using multimedia technologies in educational contexts, with a specific focus on the scientific disciplines in secondary schools.

The previous year, in 2013-2014, I completed another Postgraduate Diploma, this time in "Strategies and Methods of Intervention for Disabilities in Educational Settings", also at the University for Foreigners Dante Alighieri. This program, also lasting 1500 hours and awarding 60 CFU, provided me with specific skills to address the challenges of school inclusion, particularly regarding students with disabilities, through targeted teaching strategies.

In 2011-2012, I completed the Postgraduate Diploma in "Theory and Method of Collaborative Learning" at the University for Foreigners Dante Alighieri. This program, lasting 1500 hours and awarding 60 CFU, allowed me to deepen my understanding of methods and strategies to promote collaborative learning, an approach I consider essential for fostering inclusion and interaction among students in educational settings.

In 2013-2014, I also completed a Special Qualification Path (PAS) at the University of Bologna, which qualified me to teach in the A059 class, dedicated to mathematics and science in lower secondary school.

Previously, between 2009 and 2010, I attended the Specialization School for Secondary Teaching (SISS) at the University of Ferrara, where I obtained certification to teach support education in secondary schools.

Also at the University of Ferrara, in 2008-2009, I attended the Specialization School for Secondary Teaching (SISS) with a focus on Natural Sciences, class A060, where I obtained certification to teach Natural Sciences, Chemistry, Geography, and Microbiology in upper secondary schools. I concluded this program with the title of Specialist Doctor for Secondary Education.

These academic qualifications have provided me with a solid theoretical and practical foundation, enriching my teaching experience and my approach to inclusive and innovative pedagogy.

In 2004, I obtained a 2nd level Master’s degree in "Environmental/Safety Manager with Environmental Accounting Skills", which lasted 500 hours. This master’s program provided me with advanced competencies in environmental management systems, quality systems, and integrated systems. I deepened my knowledge of certifications such as ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and EMAS. The program also included a 210-hour internship at a consultancy specializing in environmental, safety, and quality issues. Upon completion of the master’s, I earned the qualification of Environmental/Safety Manager.

In 2003-2004, I attended a theoretical-practical course for "Environmental Operator in the Five Regional Nature Parks of the Province of Bologna", which lasted 400 hours. This course allowed me to acquire specific knowledge of the flora, fauna, geology, and itineraries of the five regional nature parks. I also developed skills in planning nature itineraries. At the end of the course, I earned the qualification of Qualified Environmental Operator for the Protected Areas of the Province of Bologna.

Between 1998 and 2003, I attended the University of Bologna, where I graduated in Natural Sciences (old system), with a focus on "Conservation of Nature and Its Resources".
