Scientific interest
I am a biologist mainly interested in evolutionary and molecular biology of several animals, both wild and domesticated. My attention is focused mainly in the pig species studying the domestication process, including how artificial selection shaped their genomes, their physiology and their productive traits. Moreover I am involved in molecular authentication of animal food products.
