2004-2009 - Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) awarded by the University of Brighton (13 July 2009).
This PhD research project was fully funded by the University of Brighton. It consisted on an exploration of the power dynamics underlying the cultural politics of change in English coastal resorts and the role of tourism in the conversion of first generation cold water post-mature seaside towns in England into sustainable cities by the sea.
