Andrea Natale Tallarico received the M.Sc. and the Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Calabria, Italy, 2012, and from the University of Bologna, Italy, 2017, respectively.
In the period 2012-2016 he has been visiting student for two years at the imec vzw research Center, Belgium, working on GaN-based power devices reliability.
In the period 2017-2021 he joined the ARCES research Center as postdoctoral researcher, working on characterization and modelling of the semiconductor power devices reliability. During the same period, he was Adjunct Professor at the University of Bologna, Cesena Campus, teaching activities focused on the physics of power and CMOS semiconductor devices.
From 2021 to 2024, he was a tenure-track Senior Assistant Professor (type B) at the Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Information Engineering "Guglielmo Marconi" (DEI) at the University of Bologna, where he is currently an Associate Professor.
He has been a member of the Ph.D. board in Automotive Engineering for Intelligent Mobility at the University of Bologna since the a.y. 2021/22, a member of the SUA-RD committee of the Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Information Engineering "Guglielmo Marconi" since 2023, and a member of the Scientific Committee of the Central Library "L.B. Alberti" at the Cesena Campus since 2024.
He has participated in the following international research projects: E2SG (SP1-JTI-ENIAC-2011-3), E2CoGaN (SP1-JTI-ENIAC-2012-1), R2Power300 (ECSEL-2014-2), WInSiC4AP (ECSEL-2016-1), R3PowerUP (work package leader, ECSEL-2016), iRel4.0 (ECSEL-2019-1-IA). He is currently involved in the following European research projects: Transform (ECSEL-2020-1-IA), R-PODID (HORIZON-KDT-JU-2022-2-RIA).
He serves as a reviewer for the following international journals: "IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices" (Golden Reviewer 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021), "IEEE Electron Device Letters" (Golden Reviewer 2019, 2020, 2023), "IEEE Journal of the Electron Devices Society" (Golden Reviewer 2022), "IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics", "IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics", "Applied Physics Letters," etc.
He has been a Technical Program Committee (TPC) member of the "European Symposium on Reliability of Electron Devices, Failure Physics and Analysis (ESREF)" since 2019.
