Zuzana Toth joined the University of Bologna in 2025, as researcher in Educational Linguistics. Her main research interests include the acquisition of Italian in multilingual contexts, teaching writing, and the assessment of (meta)linguistic competence. Within the framework of a Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellowship (funded by the European Union), she initiated a research project aimed at investigating the characteristics of texts perceived as "well-written." From 2011 to 2023, she collaborated in various capacities with INVALSI, focusing in particular on the development of tests assessing metalinguistic competence.
