Zo Bilay (aka) Zo is a Human Rights Researcher specializing in the nexus between human rights violations and the militant Buddhist nationalism(s) in Burma.

 He earned a Master of Arts in Human Rights from Mahidol University, Thailand, where his thesis examined "Buddhist Nationalism and Human Rights Violations Against the Rohingya of Myanmar: An Analysis from Human Rights Experts." 

 Currently, his research explores Buddhist nationalist monk(s), their sermons (TikTok videos), their justification of the violence and the formation of militia groups in Burma.
