Valentina Gili, 1991. Single Cycle Master's Degree in Architecture at the University of Bologna. The focus of her thesis' research was the architectural history of the neoclassical villa Aldini, including future strategies about its preservation and valorization. In 2014 she joined the project Database of contemporary architecture post 1945 promoted by the italian Ministry of Culture in order to catalogue postwar historic buildings in Emilia-Romagna Region. In 2024 she was involved in the ongoing PRIN project DISSONANT HERITAGE AND WAR. Conservation and Communication of a difficult legacy - Co.Co. War (in partnership with Università Politecnica delle Marche and Politecnico di Torino) as research fellow for the Department of Architecture.
She collaborates with architecture studios by focusing on bibliographic and archival research and she is currently an Exibart writing contributor.
Teaching tutor 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 for the Conservation theory of historic buildings and heritage conservation course at the CdLM in Ingegneria dei processi e dei sistemi edilizi in Ravenna.
