Research interests:
Research of the role of DNA methylation in gram-positive bacteria. Study of the metabolic pathways of bacteria of biotechnological interest. Development of metabolic engineering strategies in order to produce molecules of industrial interest from lignocellulosic waste.
Education:
Master's degree in Molecular and Industrial Biotechnology in 2021 at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biotechnology (FaBiT), University of Bologna.
Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology in 2017 at the Faculty of Science MM.FF.NN of the University of Salento.
Work experience:
Activity as 4th level Biologist from December 2021 to May 2022,carrying out molecular swab analysis for determination of SARS-CoV-II infections on cruise ships in South Africa and the Mediterranean Sea.
Awards and honours:
a.a.2019-2020 - Mention of merit for civic engagement and the exercise of active citizenship, recognised by the Alma Mater Studiorum- University of Bologna.
