Tommaso Casati earned his Bachelor’s degree in Geological Sciences in July 2019 (with the mark 108/110) at the University of Florence (Italy), and his Master’s degree in Geological Sciences and Technologies in July 2021 (maximum marks and distinction) from the same University. After completing his second cycle degree, in November 2021 he passed the State Exam to gain access to the Italian National Register of Geologists, granting him the qualification to practice as a Senior Geologist.
Tommaso Casati is currently a PhD student in Hydrogeology at the Department of Biological, Geological and Environmental Sciences, University of Bologna (Italy), with supervisor Prof. Alessandro Gargini and co-supervisors Prof. Antonio Navarra and Dr. Maria Filippini. The aim of his research project is "To predict the long-term effects of climate changes on the spring flow of high discharge Italian aqueduct springs".
