Teresa Gavaruzzi

Researcher in general psychology since 2022 at the University of Bologna, previously at the University of Padova, where she studied and obtained her PhD, with a visiting period at the University of Michigan (USA) and a post doc at the University of Leeds (UK).

She investigates medical decision making in several domains. Her main research areas include: vaccination decision making (factors affecting vaccine acceptance and hesitancy), shared decision making (SDM), tools to support patients decision making (patient decision aids), quality of life and patient reported outcomes (PROMs), cancer screening testing, genetic testing, risk communication and perception.
