Stella Blumfelde

Stella Blumfelde is a Research Fellow at the University of Bologna (UNIBO) and a soon-to-be PhD graduate from the University of Genoa (UNIGE). Her doctoral research focuses on the role of regional international organizations in cybersecurity governance, exploring the dynamics of cooperation and regulation in the field.

Currently, as a Research Fellow, Stella’s work revolves around emerging technologies, dual-use technologies, export controls, and critical digital infrastructure. She is particularly interested in understanding the intersection of technology, governance, and security, contributing to innovative policy solutions in these areas.
