Silvia Zanelli is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Philosophy and Theory of Languages, within the framework of the PRIN 2022 PNNR "Cult-up. Upcycling and cultural heritage". The research project focuses on the theme of cultural upcycling, considered from a semiotic perspective, with particular reference to the case study of plastic.
From 2020 to 2023 she attended the PhD course in Transcultural Studies in Humanities (philosophical curriculum) at the University of Bergamo. In her doctoral thesis she proposed a theoretical alliance between the reflections of Charles Sanders Peirce and Gilles Deleuze. Degree awarded on 12/06/24.
In 2020 she graduated in Philosophical Sciences at the University of Milan (110/110 cum laude) and in Philosophy in 2017 at the same university (110/110 cum laude).
Her research interests concern the thought of Gilles Deleuze, Charles Sanders Peirce and Gilbert Simodon, with a focus on the relationship between pre-individuality and individuation.
