I am currently working on the efficient estimation of the state of charge (SOC) of a battery deployed on an electric vehicle while considering constant current discharge profiles. The estimation techniques being utilized are data driven machine learning based algorithms. The ultimate objective is the hardware implementation of the designed algorithm using a micro-controller/FPGA. Moreover, the final outcome is expected to have a more scalable and application independent design/output.
