PhD Student in “Future Earth, Climate Change and Societal Challenges” (FRONTIERS) hosted by Department of Physics and Astronomy (DIFA) and the Department of Statistical Sciences “Paolo Fortunati” (STAT) at the University of Bologna. She is involved in POPCLIMA project “Population Dynamics under Global Climate Change” funded by the European Research Council (Principal Investigator Raya Muttarak; Grant Agreement n. 101002973). POPCLIMA aims to comprehensively address impacts, extent, and mechanisms to which climate change affects demographic outcomes.
The interdisciplinary research of Rosanna Gualdi deals with human mortality and climate change. Her research interests focus on present and future temperature-related mortality in older adults and exploring spatial and socio-demographic heterogeneities in climate-related mortality.
She received her BSc in Bio-Demographic Statistics and her MSc in Statistics, Economics and Business from Bologna University.
