Rosa Sorrentino is a research fellow at the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the University of Bologna within the PRIN 2022 project "Social Representation of Cyber-Violence Against Women and Girls: Advancing Knowledge on an Under-Conceptualized Issue". She earned her PhD in Social and Statistical Sciences at the Department of Social Sciences, University of Naples Federico II, with a dissertation focusing on the role and effectiveness of Anti-Violence Centers in Campania Region. Dr. Sorrentino has been a member of the research team for the Norisc-19 project, which investigated the Third Sector, and she has collaborated with the Po.l.is Foundation of Campania Region. Her academic and research interests include social science methodology, gender and women’s studies, media studies, the analysis of violence against women, social policy, the Third Sector, and the study of cultural production.
