PhD candidate of the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna since 2024, he deals with the integration and use of Artificial Intelligence algorithms in Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality simulations with an Industry 5.0 (I5.0) perspective.
From May 2024 to October 2025 he was a Research Fellow at the Department of Engineering Sciences and Methods of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, participating in the European project Horizon Europe DaCapo (Digital assets and tools for circular value chains and manufacturing products), with particular focus on the design of tools to support sustainable manufacturing processes based on Augmented Reality.
He received the Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence Engineering with Honors on 04/16/2024.
His research is aimed in particular at the development of adaptive interfaces in the User Experience field with an Industry 5.0 perspective. He currently focuses his research on the topic of the use of Computer Vision algorithms and Augmented Reality to support the operator in the operator's quality check task.
