Impact of speed limits on air pollution in Bologna
The reduction of speed limits in urban areas is an increasingly common policy adopted to increase quality of life and road safety. The objective of this thesis is to investigate, through statistical tools, the impact on air quality of the 30km/h speed limits recently implemented in the city of Bologna. Data for the empirical exercise will be collected from public sources (e.g., Arpae).
