Research macro area: Study of road infrastructure in relation to the adoption of connected and autonomous vehicles (CAV).

Research sub-areas:

- Study of the driving user behaviour related to different levels of vehicle automation according to SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) definitions

- Study of the kinematic parameters of the vehicle associated with different levels of automation (SAE definitions) for the purpose of planning ordinary maintenance of the road network and obtaining real-time monitoring of its pavement
