exam session of October 25 - amendment and further information
Dear students,
first of all, I have to correct what I wrote in my previous notice. in order to register to the OFA exam you should visit the alma esami portal, and not the EOL portal as I originally wrote.
You will log in the EOL portal in the computer lab on the day of the exam. That is the portal where you will actually take your test.
Also, please take note of the following points
- web browser: in the computer lab, make sure to use Google Chrome, as other browsers, such as Firefox, could have some issues.
- language: the default language of the EOL portal migh be Italian. Make sure to change the language to English before starting your test. If you do not do that, the menus and dialog messages will be in Italian. The test questions will be in English anyway.
- restroom: once you started your test, you will have to submit your answers before leaving the room. This means that you won't be able exit the computer lab and come back in later to resume your test. So, make sure to visit the restroom before the test, if you think you may need it.
- submission: before leaving the lab, make sure that the system acknowledges that you have actually submitted your answers. I think you'll have to confirm two or even three times. If you are unsure raise your hand and I'll come and take a look.
