Fulfilling Additional Learning Requirements
- if you scored less than 12/20 in the maths section of your TOLC-I test you have to fulfill Additional Learning Requirements (OFA);
- in order to fulfill ALR you'll have to pass a test. The dates for the next four exam sessions are as follows:
▸ 25th October 2024 at 2.30 p.m., [canceled due to adverse weather conditions]
▸ 22th November 2024 at 2.30 p.m.
▸ 7th January 2025 at 2.30 p.m.,
▸ 14th February 2025 at 2.30 p.m.,
▸ 16th June 2025 at 2.30 p.m
- students can take the OFA test as many times as needed, even consecutively;
- the deadline for fulfilling the ALR is 31st March of the year following the matriculation year (that is 31 March 2026 for students matriculated in the academic year 2024/25).
- constraints apply to the enrolment in the second year, and to the possibility of registering for second-year exams, as specified in the webpage on Additional Learning Requirements;
- the tests will take place in the Computer Lab, located at Via Tombesi dall'Ova 55;
- it is important that you register for the test at least four days in advance on the university's "Alma Esami" portal;
- It is important that you bring a valid physical ID to the test. This can be either your student badge or your passport. Hard copies or photos of your ID will not be accepted;
Information about the test
- the test will consist of 20 questions;
- students will have 2 hours to complete the test;
- the scoring system is as follows:
▸ 1 point for each correct answer;
▸ 0 points for any unanswered questions;
▸ –0.25 points for each incorrect answer;
- the minimum passing score is 8 points out of 20;
- students are not allowed to use books, personal notes, calculators, or any electronic devices, such as mobile phones.
