Ozge holds dual Ph.D. degrees in Architecture, Built Environment, and Construction Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (POLIMI) and in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Her research centers on sustainable urban design, especially the integration of green infrastructure into urban landscapes to optimize energy performance, mitigate heat island effects, and enhance ecological connectivity. Her Ph.D. thesis, "Multidimensional Examination of Vertical Green Structures in a Changing Urban Environment," introduced innovative methodologies for assessing environmental performance of green infrastructures. She joined the University of Bologna (UNIBO) as a Research Fellow in July 2024.
