Nicolas Turchi

Nicolas Turchi is an Assistant Professor at the American University of Dubai, School of Architecture, an Adjunct Professor at the University of Bologna, a Visiting Professor at the University of Sofia and the founder of the Architecture practice nt-ar.  Nicolas holds a Master in Architecture II from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Bologna where he received the Best Thesis Award. Nicolas has worked in several international firms including Zaha Hadid Architects, Eisenman Architects, Xefirotarch - Hernan Diaz Alonso Architects, Mario Cucinella Architects and 5+1AA. Nicolas is particularly interested in emergent technologies and the way they affect the theoretical aspect of the discipline.  Nicolas is constantly pairing the work in the practice with a more theoretical research and academic collaborations, participating in international competitions jury, academic panels, and lectures in various institutions including Harvard University, the New York Institute of Technology, and the A&M Texas University.
