Nicola Facchinello

Associate Professor at the University of Bologna since 2024, he is dedicated in the use of zebrafish as a model for human diseases. His research interests focus particularly on combining CRISPR/Cas9 technology in zebrafish, utilizing transgenic reporters and imaging techniques for the detailed visualization of developmental and pathophysiological processes. Actively involved in national and international research projects, he collaborates with various institutes. He is the author of numerous publications in prestigious international journals and participates in several editorial boards.
