Nicola Degli Esposti is a researcher in history and international politics. During his PhD at the London School of Economics (2020) he studied the history of the Kurdish national movement from the perspectives of historical sociology and political economy, and he carried out fieldwork in Iraqi Kurdistan. In 2020-2021, he was International Relations Fellow at the LSE where he taught courses on international relations theory and the international politics of the Middle East. Between 2020 and 2024, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Political Science, Law and International Studies (SPGI) of the University of Padova where he conducted research on the history of globalisation.
