As a Research Fellow at DiMeVet, I focus on the analysis of metagenomic data using advanced pipelines based on Snakemake, aiming to study the ruminal microbiota of dairy cows. My research seeks to develop a decision-making model that describes the entire production chain, from production to consumer, thus contributing to the reduction of methane emissions in the dairy supply chain, in accordance with the standards established by the European project Food2030.

In parallel, at the Department of Physics and Astronomy (DiFA), I engage in the analysis of social data, with particular attention to network data from Twitter. My main objective is to construct classification models based on textual features, primarily extracted through advanced algorithms like BERT. Additionally, I am exploring the integration of network features with textual features to evaluate whether this synergy can enhance the overall performance of the model.
