In 2020, she achieved the Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering (Dissertation: "Neural mechanisms underlying the development of causal inference in neurotypical children and those suffering from Autism Spectrum Disorders. A neurocomputational approach") at the University of Bologna. In 2022, she earned the Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering for Neuroscience (Dissertation: "Investigating perceptual multisensory impairments in Autism through a neural network: a possible neural implementation for the shift from cross-modal competition to facilitation") at the University of Bologna.

In 2022, while working on her Master Thesis Project, she spent a period doing research abroad at the Rose F. Kennedy Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Research Center (IDDRC), in The Cognitive Neurophysiology Laboratory (CNL), at Albert Einstein College of Medicine (New York, USA).
