The proposed topics are mainly based on the Professor's research interests, which include the study of diagnostic and prognostic indicators of critical illness, with particular reference to sepsis and trauma in companion animals. Additional topics covered by the thesis include multidisciplinary topics, such as studies on prevalence and risk factors associated with healthcare associated infections, antimicrobialresistance and health surveillance in collaboration with teachers of infectious diseases.
